You can hear about 12 seconds of Vampire Weekend’s new album at their refreshed website, and it’s not at all what you’re expecting, if what you’re expecting more afropop.
Or I guess it actually might be, if you imagine them getting Boards of Canada to corrupt the hell out of it through several layers of analog tape-loop first.
Either way, to my ears it’s the exact sound of “good music.”
